About Us...
In 2005, Ariyeh and Mimi Green were new parents with a vision. Both Ariyeh and Mimi grew up in the northeast, where they seldom were around swimming pools or open bodies of water. Recently transplanted to South Florida, they realized they would be raising their children surrounded by pools, canals, waterways, and the ocean. The Greens were determined to create a safer water environment for families like their own.
WaterWarden®...
The inception of WaterWarden® Pool Safety Products was not just a business decision; it was a turning point in the life of the Green family. Back then, Ariyeh was working grueling 20 hour workdays at a food distribution company in Miami. With two young children and a desire for a brighter future, change was overdue. Their vision helped the Greens take a leap of faith, leveraging their home's equity to launch WaterWarden®.
From Humble Beginnings...
WaterWarden®'s line of pool safety products started out with an easy-to-install pool fence for in-ground pools. The simple DIY installation was perfect for parents like the Greens themselves. Soon word began to spread about the safety and reliability of WaterWarden® pool fencing. The WaterWarden® lineup of pool safety items quickly expanded to include safety net systems, pool safety covers, and then products designed for above-ground pools as well. The WaterWarden® name was soon nationally recognized as a symbol of reliability and trustworthiness in pool safety products.
The Next Chapter...
In 2014, WaterWarden® was sold to SPQ Brands, a pool industry leader. Ariyeh and Mimi both remained in key leadership positions, continuing to innovate, grow and expand the WaterWarden® brand. In 2023, it was finally time for the Greens to bid farewell to their WaterWarden® legacy, when they acquired SweepEase®.
A Seamless Transition...
The transition from WaterWarden® to SweepEase® was not the end of an era. Rather it was a continuation of a commitment to excellence and innovation. Backed by the Greens' years of experience and passion for enhancing pool experiences, SweepEase® is poised to redefine pool maintenance standards across the industry.
